We release behind a flag, watch the pulse, and decide. No six-month roadmaps, because we have never seen one survive contact with a customer.
Northbeam started in March 2024 as a Notion doc Maya wrote at 2am after exporting her sixth CSV that night. Six months later it had a working prototype, a pre-seed term sheet, and Lior.
Maya had spent four years writing the same Looker tile at three different companies. Lior had shipped six internal A/B testing platforms and watched five of them go unused. They met during a customer-research sprint at a fintech accelerator in Kolonaki and bonded over the same complaint: every PM they knew was building dashboards instead of building product.
Northbeam inverts that. You describe the behaviour you care about in plain English, and the product builds the cohort, the retention curve and the alert. It runs on top of the warehouse you already have, so there is no second source of truth.
Meet the seven of usWe release behind a flag, watch the pulse, and decide. No six-month roadmaps, because we have never seen one survive contact with a customer.
Not the data team. Not the C-suite. The PM at 11pm before a launch, who needs one number and cannot get it.
Your data is yours. We never copy it, sell it, or train on it. This is an architecture decision, not a policy we can quietly change later.
Maya runs every onboarding for the first 100 customers. After that we hire someone better than us at it.
